    Pros

Benefits of company are comparable with most companies. Allows you to invest in stock which has increase significantly the past 5 years.

    Cons

Cost of health care has increased the passed 2 years. Pay increase does not match the cost of living and will barely offset the increase health care coverage.

    Advice to Management

Pay employees their worth and you wont have constant change.

    Pros

Good broker, good people. Employee benefits were among the best in the industry. Good business training provided a good environment for learning

    Cons

Became to "corporate" and has been cutting benefits for employees lately. Does not care about their employees, too bad they are losing a lot of talented people.

    Advice to Management

    Value your employees

I worked at Marsh & McLennan Companies as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

People are nice, the work environment is very positive.

    Cons

Management isn't straight forward. But that's politics that can be found in any other company. Too much time is spent in glorifying the same people that management favor.

    Advice to Management

Be less bias and include everyone

I worked at Marsh & McLennan Companies full-time

    Pros

Met a lot of great people. Large organization that offers tuition reimbursement. Offers a great work life balance. Opportunities to travel exist and it's not a very stressful environment.

    Cons

You feel like a cog in a wheel and your day to day tasks are not attached to anything meaningful or significant. If you want an office job that's 9-5, this works but not if you're an ambitious person who wants to "move the needle".

    Advice to Management

Good leadership team overall. Try to inspire employees more. It's a drab industry being insurance and all but find ways to connect people with the overall vision.
