I worked at Marsh & McLennan Companies (Less than a year)

    Pros

There are a lot of great people here in MGTI and it is a very fast paced IT enterprise environment.

    Cons

Hard to move up the chain, it seems like there isn't a clear path to getting to management from some of the teams.

    Advice to Management

Try to reward those who do more for the company and get more accomplished. A lot of times I saw people who were too good at their job getting stuck where they were because of it.

I worked at Marsh & McLennan Companies full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Heavy on procedures and policies. Leadership partnership was great, laid out expectation, big on transformation

    Cons

Decided to outsource their HR Operations team over to India and Kentucky for cost savings when the former team quality was above average. Restructuring Ops ended up being back some of their resources in house again.

Paper driven environment. Medical benefits were high.
