I have been working at Martin Transportation Systems full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Don’t expect any. Mandatory 6 days a week. This job will consume your life. 12 hours daily. All the people work here have broken spirits. It’s pool of misery. Jump in

    Cons

The entire company . No raise ever. No pto. Unpaid orientation. 3 weeks till first pay. Bad equipment. Bad culture. Bottom of the barrel

I worked at Martin Transportation Systems

    Pros

Decent pay, good runs once you get one.

    Cons

Most companies are going forward into the future buying newer equipment for the drivers. MTS buys other companies old trucks and wrecked trucks and rebuilds them. You ever go to MTS headquarters in Byron center Michigan you'll see that the place is a scrap yard of old trucks and all they do is rebuild old trucks. And put them into the fleet for service. You'll find these rebuilt trucks break down ALLOT. Newest truck I've seen in the fleet is maybe a 2016 international over the road truck. Just ONE. Also they have in-cab facing cameras. We the drivers hate them.
