    Pros

A great culture and a company that's growing in size and revenues. It's an exciting place to work, with plenty of room to grow, or blaze a new trail for yourself. You're surrounded by very smart (and very nice) people. Senior leadership is well-respected and has earned it.

    Advice to Management

lots of Problem in our Dealership..

I have been working at Maruti Suzuki full-time

    Pros

    1. The only International Automotive R&D in India who has started to design and develop projects on its own. (Eg: Vitara Brezza, and many more to come).
    2. Huge potential to learn in both technical and managerial aspect if you are will to do so.
    3. Highest salary and performance bonus in automotive sector.
    4. Good networking within various vertical and supplier companies.
    5. Overseas work experience opportunities at Japan.

    Cons

    1. Official working hours: 9:45 hrs, in actual, you work for ~10 to 11 hours per day excluding travel time. So, do not expect a good work life balance. You will have no time for any extra-curricular or your family except on Sat and Sun.
    2. Bond period is very high (upto 4-6 yrs) if you choose for overseas experience at Japan.
    3. Promotions are slow and almost at fixed rate. Min 3 yrs, on an average 4 yrs. However, now there are many designations to reach to a department head level.
    4. Too much work pressure almost all the time.
    5. Appraisal system is bad. Follows obsolete bell-curve system in which maximum (~85%) are appraised at middle grade. So, growth of person working hard and casual is almost same.

    Advice to Management

    1. Change HR policies immediately. Higher salaries are not everything.
    2. Remove bond for overseas training.
    3. People in design should focus more on design work rather than other wasteful activities.

  8. "Mediocre"

    Positive Outlook

    Pros

Good salary, great peers and colleagues, work pressure is less

    Cons

Worst HR qualities - don't believe in sabbatical even if the employee wants to pursue higher education. No effort in increasing skills of employees. Lots of politics in promotion and appraisals.

    Advice to Management

Please streamline your HR policies and processes. We're living in 2017. Not 1917.
