If you are man, lots of chance to shine since Marvell software talent pool is limited, better if you are good at politics.
Cons
If women, all the credit of your work will go to your man colleague or your manager and you will be left out of promotions, would get yelled in meetings. Avoid like a plague. Most of top women performers have left the company and Marvell tries to keep the diverse image by replacing them with new women hire.

Marvell is a collaborative, friendly, but driven culture. The company is growth minded with a strategy focused on big, growing end markets of data center, carrier, and automotive. It has executed a multi-year transformation led be a smart executive team. Plenty of growth opportunities for individuals in most areas, especially engineering.
Cons
It competes with larger, higher-profile companies for talent and does not (yet) have the brand recognition of the others. For many of us, that is the fun part -- competing against larger competitors. Plus, the culture offers unique benefits.
