    Pros

    I'm proud to say that I've been a part of this agency going on 7 years and there's nothing else I would change from my experience to where I am now. Making a difference on a daily basis in the individual's and their families' lives is what drives me even on a bad day. Staff and management are understanding and cooperative to adapt to the situation & assist you. Great health benefits.

    Cons

    Low staffing can be an issue at times especially in DSP roles. However that's the nature in general for the human services field. Some management can play favorites. Salary rates can improve. Can be a struggle to move up even with experience and relating field degrees.

    Advice to Management

    Other than treat all staff equally and give experienced staff a chance. Maryhaven is a great place to work!

    There are so many positions and hospitals affiliated with this company that you can easily progress to management once you’re in!
