I have been working at Marymount Hospital full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Supportive management. Nice core of knowledgeable and supportive staff. Electronic hospital support for night shift. Updated, large unit with large rooms and wide walkways. Awesome education staff.

    Cons

Alternating shifts (ICU only)...6 wks 7a-7p/6 was 7p-7a. Constant revolving door of new staff. Have to wear white uniforms. Cleveland Clinic is gradually painting EVERYTHING white.

I worked at Marymount Hospital full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Benefits, location, nurses and clinical staff are always nice and friendly and always willing to lend a helping hand. Office staff is not

    Cons

Favoritism, communism, if you aren't the supervisors favorite don't expect to enjoy your job. You are only valued by what you offer management you aren't worth anything if you go and work hard... It's not enough

    Advice to Management

Please work with managers and supervisors on how they treat employees. Lots of favoritism and back stabbing

I worked at Marymount Hospital part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great people to work with. Very kind and knowledgeable.

    Cons

Management was the worst I have ever worked with in my history of being in the medical field. No communication and no training for new hires in which Human Resources supported. Management in positions that they have no experience in. They were no help to us cause they had no experience in the areas they were told to cover and manage. Human resources needs complete overhaul. They are to be there for the employee and help us through a difficult time, but at Marymount they never listened to the employees only the Managers.

    Advice to Management

Wake up! Your losing great employees cause one manager wants to be a lion and the other a lamb following his/her shephard

    Pros

i really liked the affordable benefits for my family. Low co-pay and could see any CCF doctors. Prescriptions were affordable as well.

    Cons

I felt the staffing was sometimes unfair. I would often float 3 units due to other secretaries being off. I felt it made my floor suffer as well if I was not able to focus solely on my team.

    Advice to Management

Maybe create weekend only shifts so that employees could work one weekend a month, not every other to be able to enjoy their lives outside of work better.
