I have been working at Maserati full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Not many. The product is the only good thing about the company.

    Cons

poor management, lack of career advancement or movement, no pay increases (where you start is where you end), no bonus (company finances are taking a hit)

    Advice to Management

Spend an extra 20% per position and hire good managers from other import brands. You get what you pay for, and this has caused the revolving door for management. Give employees clear and reasonable goals and reward them if achieved.

I worked at Maserati full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Good health benefits. That is about it.

    Cons

Unapproachable HR Dept, horrible environment, no work-life balance, no appreciation for workers. Executives are treated very well, everyone else not listened to, no perks.

I worked at Maserati full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

You'll have your own desk to work at and work schedule flexible

    Cons

Bad pay, change in management and employees is quiet often. Not a friendly environment to work in, customers are always complaining but I don't blame them. Management and people who work for this company are very arrogant and lazy! they only think of themselves and not the clients. Be warned. I had to do work from all departments not just my own because other employee's were too lazy to do any type of work.

    Advice to Management

If you treated your workers better you would have a better team.

    I worked at Maserati full-time

    Pros

Exciting and fun product. Company events strongly encourage employees to get to know one another and are fun.
Most coworkers are very kind and easy to get along with.
All of the higher ups (executives) are down to earth and all around great people.

    Cons

Human Resources has no time for you.

    Women are very under appreciated.

    Management style is archaic.
There are more figureheads than anything else.

Hierarchy is very unorthodox and not well thought out. There are several managers reporting to other managers.

Execs although very kind and down to earth, demonstrate a strong sense of favoritism in terms of individuals opinions.

There are too many people in positions of power (the many many managers) that don't have the intelligence or management skills to be in charge of the night shift at your local fast food restaurant.

    Advice to Management

Watch those you constantly go to for information. They do know nearly as much as they lead on.

There are quite a few people who take credit for other peoples work.

Test your managers on their knowledge, especially those who are a one man department. They get away with too much and contribute nothing.

Listen to others, not the same individuals you always listen to.

    Pros

Great experience and fantastic vehicles to work on and develop. Range in job is good and lots to do so never bored. Great location and nice facility.

    Cons

Poor management and styles , no praise given only negative feedback. Tied with Alfa Romeo which is even worse needs to break that tie. No potential for growth your position is it don't expect promotion

    Advice to Management

Separate from Alfa Romeo let it stand or fall alone it's dragging Maserati down. Change your senior management and I mean very senior not lower levels.
