Management is lacking in qualifications and knowledge of what their rolls entail

    Aug 29, 2022 - Patient Care Coordinator
    Recommend

    Business Outlook

    Pros

Located near a Whole Foods shopping plaza, a few Dunkin Donuts, and a lot of great restaurants.

    Cons

Management teams have absolutely no real management experience and they are just winging it. The “diversity” they claim to be so proud of is all for show. The insurance that is supplied by them for staff must be used at MGH to avoid crazy copays and bills after visits, which is both invasive and unprofessional and a scam. They will overwork you, deny your time off requests and make you feel ashamed if you try to take time off. The hospital is disgusting and dirty with a lot of the practice offices seeming as though they have not been updated since the 60’s with tears in the chairs. A lot of “leadership” and I use the term loosely use bully tactics to make employees feel unwelcome. HR is nonexistent and the pay is abysmal. Avoid this poorly ran hospital at all costs. It’s not worth the workplace trauma you experience and the state of anxiety it will keep you in.

    Management heavy

    Sep 18, 2022 - Community Health Nurse
    Recommend
    CEO Approval
    Business Outlook

    Pros

Amazing providers and co-workers and direct care support professionals

    Cons

Management is top heavy and most have never worked in direct patient care. They are currently facing financial problems and starting the all too familiar move in healthcare to have their workers do more with less. After going through a pandemic you think they would finally realize they need to value their employees and work to fill gaps in care and help to improve burnout in healthcare not continue to make it worse.
