    Pros

Great access to multiple departments, experience working with all aspects of hospital - clinical units, labs, pharma companies, NIH ect...

    Cons

Difficult to grow long term in this role. It's meant for a short term experience not a long term career path.

    Advice to Management

Consider making a career path for clinical research management, would be less turnover. Hire more staff, and devote more time to training and check ins regarding workload

    Pros

Wonderful place to work. Access to some of the best physicians around and top notch research opportunities. If you are working on cool projects, then you have a great experience here.

    Cons

The pay is pretty abysmal. They definitely underpay recent graduates that are looking to go to graduate school. That being said I think the exposure to great research and the mentorship that goes on here is second to none. As a caveat, I can see others having horrible experiences if they are put in labs with delinquent PIs or cruel management.

    Advice to Management

Grant raises to high performing employees so that they are inclined to stick around and see research projects through. Making base pay more competitive would definitely attract more people away from industry.
