I have been working at Massimo Dutti full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Fun, creative, hands on, fully fashion and customer service oriented. You are constantly dressing people and playing Barbie with them.

    Cons

Not a huge income for the type of work you do, although you do learn a lot about retail at a higher end level.

    Advice to Management

There needs to be more communication and guidance to all fashion advisors. There needs to be more professionalism.

    Cons

Wage isn't competitive at all compared to competitors.
    Too much favoritism within management
    No place to grow
    No encouragement for growth
High turnover rate within the store.

    Advice to Management

Being positivity and encouragement to the employees. Be fair and show appreciation to all but not the few.

I worked at Massimo Dutti part-time

    Pros

It is an amazing company, the team was really nice, and you can find lot of opportunities and growth. Also you learn a lot and it is a very dinamic enviroment.

    Cons

This company is not for everyone, workers should be versatil, multi task, and hard worker. The salary is ok but they should increase it a bit more.

    Advice to Management

The mangers that i met in the company were very professional, but I think they should spend more time training their workers.

I have been working at Massimo Dutti (Less than a year)

    Pros

25% discount, free uniform, mostly friendly yet competitive atmosphere, pre tax transit benefits, somewhat flexible schedule. Ability to share discount with friends and family (if you have one).

    Cons

Normal retail hours can get tiresome (nights, weekends, holidays). Pay could be better. There is always something that malfunctions in the store. Employee break room could be a lot better as in appearance and appliances. There's only a refrigerator and a broken microwave that takes forever to heat things up. There are always mannequins in the employee restrooms. Everything should be more organized. Several of my coworkers and I are still waiting to receive out employee discount cards and some of us have been with the company for several months.
