I worked at Mastercard as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - work life balance - this is a true 9-5 for interns and you will be out of the office on time
    - get to interact with many experienced people due to structure of the firm
-reasonably good pay for an intern
    - very relaxed dress code

    Cons

-work can feel a little stale or slow sometimes
-have to live in boring White Plains or commute for minimum an hour from New York City
-sometimes internship lacks structure leading to boredom
-wanna-be start up vibe that's just a facade: full time employees rarely use the game rooms or funky looking chairs

    Advice to Management

    - more structured internship program

the org structure is quite complex so it takes time to navigate and understand the various teams structures and verticals. Change & flexibility is not at the speed you would like so you need to be patient.
