I have been working at Mastercard full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great, growing company. Flexible work and work/life balance, strong compensation, opportunity to move around. Good parental leave policy for those looking to have children, overall they try to make it easy for you to balance home life.

    Cons

Leveling can be inconsistent between businesses and teams. Still catching up to the large increase in size over the past few years and working through upgrades to processes.

I worked at Mastercard as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Any employee including upper level management up to CEO is willing to answer intern questions
    - Lots of networking opportunities

    Cons

Quality of internship depends on the department. Some won't have a project ready for interns by the time you arrive, but some (like mine) had my equipment and authorization ready on the first day.

I worked at Mastercard as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Great internship program. Amazing pay and many opportunities for growth and the ability to have open communication with senior members.

    Cons

No longer hire graduate students. The program was great overall, but there was definitely an emphasis on STEM interns without as much emphasis on the support field interns.

    Advice to Management

Tailor some of the programs to showcase other departments of MasterCard instead of just the technology aspects. Finance, accounting, HR, marketing, etc, are also integral parts of the company.
