      Pros

-Loved seeing how the students grew and showed improvements in their math skills -Paid training -Co-Workers were very friendly

      Cons

-Tends to get very stressful, especially with problematic students -Low pay -No potential for growth -minimal hours -repetitive tasks I don’t know if other centers are like this, but the old management when I was starting off did not do a good job with positive reinforcement. You can’t tell us to teach our students that way when you yourself don’t treat the instructors that way. There was not a lot of trust in the new instructors. Our performance was judged based on previous mistakes instead of looking at the improvements we were making to correct those mistakes.

      Pros

If you enjoy working with kids, you will love your job here. If you work hard, you can be noticed and potentially move up to roles like Lead Instructor or Assistant Director.

      Cons

Low pay for skilled work. Uncertain schedules.

      Pros

Great product - the mathnasium curriculum is effective and easy to facilitate; radius (the mathnasium work related website) is excellent for work flow tasks; my bosses were caring, flexible with scheduling, and provided excellent care to the families, just a delight to work for

      Cons

Low pay; not a lot of opportunities for job growth; they do throw you into the rotation of instruction without much training
