    Pros

    maurices is one of the best companies I have ever worked for! I appreciate the company values and how they encourage you to live them.

    Cons

    Paid maternity leave would be great! As a company full of woman - that would be a much welcomed benefit!

    Flexible schedule, easy to work with school schedule

    Cons

    been told to work like I am earning commission but am not receiving commission, management bonuses and gets the benefit but no one else

    Pros

    Pay was good, environment was really positive, incentives for increasing sales were given to the entire team but are especially good for managers, corporate always had a something going on to benefit employees (i.e. extra discount on top of the 40%, free custom swag, treats) Very team oriented. Always room to move up and corporate 1000% encourages it, including internal education opportunities.

    Cons

    Sales can be hard, especially when everyone has quotas to meet and everyone shares registers. The team I worked with was an honest and team driven group of ladies so we didn't have the trouble but it clearly happens with other stores.

    Pros

    They start training you for management positions immediately. They took away individual sales and implemented team selling. I liked the change because it teaches and promotes teamwork instead of competition. 40% off is a a great benefit as well.

    Cons

    Carrer advancement could be challenging if you are not willing to relocate.
