Could be way better.
May 13, 2023 - Shift Leader in Fort Smith, ARRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
You earn a paycheck weekly, bout it.
Cons
Managment has no idea what is really going on with the loaders, the guys who do the actuall physical act of making everything go. No incentive based raises so the guy that does not even do half the work you or someone else does gets the same raise everyone else gets. I could keep going but I won't, those are the highlights tho.

Decent pay. but rude, condescending employees
Nov 22, 2022 - Truck Driver in Victoria, TXRecommendCEO ApprovalBusiness OutlookPros
The pay is good, and the dispatchers are typically on their A-game to get you loads and home time.
Cons
Everyone is rude, and the atmosphere is like walking on glass. The general company philosophy is "Perform perfectly, or be fired" so everyone's incredibly stressed which leads them to having zero patience with the drivers and the students. One of the dispatcher lady's threw me under the bus, by lying about information she gave me. That way, her mistake wouldn't fall back on her. This ultimately lead to my getting fired. I should've seen the red flags at the beginning. They're all just so mean, impatient, and belittling.

Pros
Securement training is thorough and safety is a priority.
Cons
You hear “Safety, why risk it” for two weeks before, during, and after every power point presentation and you get trained in load securement only to be placed with a trainer who secures loads the way you get trained not to.
