      Pros

Room for growth, pay is better than any other shop

      Cons

Everything is outstanding, after leaving the company to see how other shops pay and work, mavis is the most professional and generous.

Decent job, ok entry level pay

      Pros

For the most part, its a family oriented business. Salary + Commission 401k Medical Dental Paid Vacation Paid Personal Days Paid Sick Leave

      Cons

They'll hire anyone. No experience necessary. Makes the work environment very hectic when the new guy doesn't know anything Micromanagement Gross Pay is $10-15 an hour + commission, making Gross hourly pay fluctuate between $15-25 an hour Take Home Pay is more $10-17 an hour after taxes, you have a quota to hit (that fluctuates with your hours on the clock) before you start making actual money, meaning you have to work fast and keep moving. There's a national call center that takes all calls and will overload the shop with work without confirming with the shop what's going on, or if there would be time.

Company doesn’t not care about the employees!!!

      Pros

Most of your teammates are good people

      Cons

Upper management live in a fantasy land. I want to called the Mavis land of make Believe. We are normally working by yourself to run the store. These are your job functions, 1 - walk out to every car and write up and cash out customers, 2– write repair orders once they are in the shop, 3 - pull the tires for the shuttle, 4 - manage and call all the quotes, 5 - answer the phone, 6-supervise the shop employees who could careless about following rules because most are drug addicts, 7 - provide good customer service, 8 - sign up customers for the Mavis card, 9, make sure you are getting the customer to submit surveys and reviews. 10, - get a Call from the RTM why we have not sold any shocks, 11, get a call from the RTM why we did not call the quotes, 12, get a call from the RTM why we have no Mavis cards, 13, Get a call from the RTM ....... it just don’t stop. Note this is all by yourself. - to sum it up overworked and under paid. No sense of reality of store employees. Oh and if you hit the button “booked for the rest of the day,” it would be better to start a nuclear war

      Pros

The company its self is great flexable hours fair pay vacation and sick days HR is great listen out to you ive work with some managers and workers and have had a awsome work status been with the company 5 years left for one came right back

      Cons

They have some lazy workers and no skill managers running the placer mean while you have a New coming RTMS that dont listen to you and allways have the managers back instead of listening out to your problem and why you are not happy in the shop..!

      Overworked and underpaid

Apr 11, 2021 - Store Manager in Tampa, FL

      Pros

25.00 oil change and car repair discounts

      Cons

Constant overstock tires with no room to put in inventory and you have to go in early and remove 400+ tires every morning and then bring back in every night after a long day with no lunch. Upper management only care about selling tires ,brakes and shocks and struts. They have you push Credit cards and and flushes so he RTM can get spiffed. Poor inventory management at upper levels . You can do a full inventory on 1 day and be short 100+ the next with no explanation. They take that out of our bonus. Employees hired by RTM are usually drug addicts and non professional bottom feeders. Getting high on job seems to be allowed and as a store manger you have no way of firing them , even on oil outs and wheel offs. Crazy! Short employment if your desperate !!! Run !!!

      Pros

Company is a complete disaster! Used to get cars worked on for free but now field employees have to pay. What a joke!!!!!

      Cons

Slave labor!!! If you are short employees in a store due to Covid and you need help this is what you hear “figure it out!!” That is what your Director tells you! You get no help at this level. You have to run stores short to staff other stores. Makes no sense. Drug addict, no problem you can work for Mavis. If you lie or cheat, or a criminal, hey get yourself promoted!!! It’s all about the numbers!!!! Upper management do not care about anything but the numbers!!! If you steal yo get good numbers they look the other way until it gets to be to big of a deal. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO INTEGRITY WITH MAVIS!!!!!!!!!!!! For God’s Sake!!! Do Not Apply!!!!!!!!!!!
