Pros

Lots of leads. You can work as much as you want and if you can sell you are doing great

Cons

They will fill you full of bs. The product is very expensive and not what they say. The leads are 9,12,3,6. They take at least 90 minutes to present and if you get lucky and have an interested customer you will spend a good 3 he's trying to close car salesman like with the price until they cave , then paperwork to turn in takes another 30 minutes. By and all if you have time to eat and get to your next appointment you are lucky. It's high pressure sales on a substandard product that could be sold for 20% of the prices you will sell . Run away from this company if you are in sales. The turnover is so high... Only stayed because I have kids and still looking for real work ... The leads suck, it's people who have no idea they are supposed to buy that day and shocked when they see the price.

Pros

Initial training is top-notch (thanks to people who quit from being screwed on pay). Most of the people there are good people. If you are the elite of elite sales reps you can make 100k+ in sales. Just as long as you don't mind selling non-exclusive plastic products at the highest multiplier in the industry from crazy high overhead and greedy execs (Labor + Materials x4-5 in most cases) and get on the sales manager's good side. Average L&M was around $3000 with a starting sale price of $16,000 for the basic white smooth walls and shower pan. Windows average $300-$600 cost per window with labor costing around $150-$300ave. Price increased over 75% overnight with windows now averaging $1800-2200/ window. Companies in the area are selling the EXACT same Windcore windows for $700-900 all day.

Cons

"Everybody Happy" & the culture they brag about is total BS. It was BS before they went corporate and sold the company to TITAN, its especially nonsense since the acquisition. Take it from someone who helped create and drive the culture. I was in EVERY culture meeting and was vital in defining the values and beliefs that they "have", and was in every manager's meeting for 6+ years. Sad to say this, but people are just #s and do not matter to management. Sales have over 150% turnover (over 100+ sales reps come and go every year and averaged $50k/yr earnings) and even more in field marketing. About 5% make it past 6 months - ALL FACTS! Pay is a joke company-wide. Pay plans are confusing (on purpose) with so many disclaimers/ goals that are designed to not payout and for the company to win, not the rep. I'd suggest getting all your pay earned before leaving, I know of hundreds of reps who never received a dime once they quit (pay plan says they should still get paid on sales earned, just no more advances). What's sad, is the image they project would be incredible if they actually lived/ believed what they say they value and believe. It's all recruiting tools to them, not actual values and beliefs they share. Exec team has made hundreds of thousands of dollars more every year while mid-management consistently makes less per year. Sales reps get home after 10pm 3-4 days a week, and regularly drive 4+ hours a day to leads with over 25% no-show rate. Drive to Lafayette for a 9:00, no-show and have to wait in Laffy all day to run a no-show or 1leg 6:00 pm lead. Scenarios like this happened a few times a month in all markets. Your car, your gas, your time and your vehicle maintenance expenses. No risk on their part in sending you to BFE for an unqualified lead. They WILL try to enforce any non-compete you sign so you better have a backup plan not related to anything home renovations because they include trades they NEVER have done or plan to offer in their non-competes. Attacking people by attempting to prevent them from working because they saw through the bs and decided not to allow their name and reputation to be tarnished by representing Maxhome is a cowardly move,

Pros

Growth!! If you want it, you definitely can get it. Everything is laid out for everyone to see, there is no beating around the bush. Everything is straight forward. The business is simple, but not always the easiest. This does give you a challenge. A good one. I am grateful for our meetings we have every Thursdays. I love being able to see our team together in one room. To feel the awesome energy and be reminded why I enjoy my position here with MaxHome. It's not for everyone I get that, but for those who want to make it your family it is an amazing one. Life is no fun without a challenge and here with MaxHome you get one that challenges yourself to become a better you!! I love it!! You get to be on your own, you ha e a script to follow that works. The commission is uncapped. It's all about your work ethic. It's about being a team and growing as a family. They all work with you to help you succeed. Do you have what it takes?

Cons

Uniforms, because I like to dress up. Only one week schedule at a time every Saturday. Makes it kinda hard to make plans for anything unless you know ahead of time. But I understand because this job isn't for everyone and there is a big turn around.
