    Pros

Uncapped commission Car and phone allowances

    Cons

Long hours Stressful environment Unrealistic expectations and responsibilities

    Advice to Management

The company can be a great place for a career but is not a great place to work with a family. Address work-life balance and understand that what you ask people to do in a day will never get done; reconsider expectations.

I worked at Maxim Healthcare Services full-time

    Pros

There are no pros working for Maxim Healthcare period.

    Cons

Long hours, unpaid overtime, no respect for recruiters from upper management, revolving door, On Call 24/7, bad management, no work/life balance, expected to attend corporate dinners and events, brown nosers are promoted even if they are horrible at management . If you are a new grad thinking about joining Maxim Healthcare, please don't. I was in your shoes since I couldn't land a job for a while straight out of college. But do yourself a favor and be patient. If you really want to be a recruiter, trying finding a smaller firm willing to train.

I worked at Maxim Healthcare Services full-time for less than a year

    Pros

You will gain a great amount of experience with a lot of different areas of the company.

    Cons

You will work very long hours and have almost no balance with your work-home life. You will also be manipulated into doing jobs that are not within your job scope. The compensation is poor, and there is little room for ethical advancement.

    Advice to Management

Train the new hires when they come in. Make sure they know what they are there to do. Do not shift new hires around to different jobs until they have mastered the previous ones.
