"Being innovative is no longer enough"

    StarStarStarStarStar
Former Employee - Manager in San Jose, CA
    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

I worked at Maxim Integrated full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Company founded on creating leading-edge chip technology. That intense spirit of innovation remains. Smart people pretty much focused on doing their own work.

    Cons

Stunning talent drain in the past two years, including valued engineers at all levels. Corporate values are aspirational and do not permeate company life.

    Advice to Management

Can no longer live in the 90s. Consider how industry and world has changed. Do something now to retain employees that remain.
