I have been working at Maxxam Analytics full-time

Lots of opportunity for growth. Great learning platform for entry level positions. Really learn a lot of integral techniques for lab work. Great team, young staff. Overtime can be banked and used at a later date. Benefits are amazing.

    Cons

May to November is busy, be prepared to do overtime, and work Saturdays (on rotation).

I worked at Maxxam Analytics as a contractor (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Maxxam offered me a very good laboratory experience with lots cross training in various departments and great support from the lab supervisors. There is good team spirit and everyone is helpful.

    Cons

More formal training could be beneficial for new employees

  8. "Good Place for Entry Level"

I have been working at Maxxam Analytics full-time

    Pros

Many friendly people, and a good learning environment, if you are coming out of a chemistry program.

    Cons

Long commuting times, considering traffic, if coming from outside of Mississauga. Some labs can be loud, smelly, or hot, but overall not bad.

    Advice to Management

Management has been good, very friendly, and personable, easy to talk to, and fair. Interviews are easy going and fair, in a friendly environment.
