    Exposure to complex clinical situations; nursing staff is invested in their role in patient care and advocacy. Fair compensation. Free CEU in-house.

    Cons

    Management and nursing staffing office consider nurses to be interchangeable widgets on a schedule with vacancies, constantly changing from day/night shift multiple times a week. There is no such thing as a work life balance if you are a staff nurse. There are many "staff satisfaction" surveys, though it would seem that little is done to improve the declining morale among nursing staff. Managers face punishment if they...

    great place to work for new graduates.

    Cons

    Mayo is very specific about who does what. As an RN you will not be placing IVs, Foley catheters, and hardly do anything with respiratory stuff
