I worked at Mazars full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I worked for Mazars almost three years and my experience was really good. I was a part of a small team and we worked well all together. At that time there were no possibility for actual promotion inside the company but my responsibilities were evolving and I felt the growth.
    Good benefits and health insurance!

    Cons

It's a good place to start your career when you don't have children. It might be a bit difficult to combine business trips for several days and your kid's routine schedule.
    Difficult to be promoted.
    Yearly salary increase is low.

I have been working at Mazars full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Mazars is run like a big extended family where everybody knows your name and surname. You are seen like a valuable resource and not just like a number. Moreover the management trusts in you and they make you feel responsible in your daily tasks. You well be in contact with a lot of high technical professionals in various sectors such as insurance and banking. Another advantage of working for Mazars is that you will be exposed to a wider spectrum of duties compared to other bigger accounting and audit firms.

    Cons

Competition in this sector is tough and it is difficult sometimes to win jobs over bigger companies. Also young students might be attracted by the opportunities offered by other accounting and audit networks, such as secondments in other offices. Career opportunities might be limited as well.

    Advice to Management

Try not to imitate your competitors and keep your style as genuine as possible. You are doing a great job so far!
