I worked at McCormick & Company full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

People-oriented company with opportunity to learn and grow
Lots of information sharing from Leadership
Multiple Management Board is an internal development process which promotes learning more about the business, development of the individual in public speaking and project management, provides an opportunity to provide valuable projects back to the company, and fosters interaction at all levels of management.

    Cons

As with any employment, work-life balance can be a struggle. Depending on Manager, situations can be more or less stressful so it is up to the employee to manage this balance no matter who is their Manager.

    Advice to Management

Keep up the information sharing and growing the company internationally. A career at McCormick is a wonderful opportunity for growth and development.

I worked at McCormick & Company as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

Working at the FMC spice factory, the friendly management helped make the job more enjoyable (provided you don't mind cheese powder up your nose and in your hair each day).

    Cons

Some of the old timers just love to talk behind people's back and criticize just about everything that anyone does that isn't perfect.

    Advice to Management

Monitor overtime hours, some employees take advantage of your absence...
