I worked at McCormick & Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

The money is good. Benefits is ok. 401k is ok. Overtime was wonderful, if you really needed it, so that wasn't a problem.

    Cons

There is no room for advancement. The training sucks. Lack of responsibility. The cultural in some departments are disappointing. The upper management sucked as a whole.

    Advice to Management

Discipline the ones who need it, not the ones who doesn't deserve it

I have been working at McCormick & Company for more than 10 years

    Pros

-Good benefits -Can purchase company stock -Coworkers are nice -Can transfer to different locations for new job opportunities -Lots of vacation after the first year of employment

    Cons

-Terrible work life balance -Pay is just below average -Takes a long time to grow and learn new roles -Shifts range from 6-12 hours and include weekend work

    Advice to Management

Listen to what is bothering the employees need to make work hours more tolerable; fix the issues and move onto something new. 11 hour days are too long to have to deal with certain conditions.
