I have been working at McCoy Federal Credit Union full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

annual HUDDLE, Ceo sends you birthday and anniversary cards, NO WEEKENDS, NO QUOTAS, no overly crowded branches so you gain friendship with co workers. testing/cross training is available, procedures are readily available at all times.

    Cons

pay could be better, better training on more complex items that you may face in branch.

    Approves of CEO

I worked at McCoy Federal Credit Union full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Company paid benefits. Weekends off. Good place for young people to start off & gain a little experience. Good place if you like to get to know your customers.

    Cons

Low pay. Testing system for promotion is stressful. Posting of employee errors & out of balances can be embarrassing & adds to stress. Personality goes a long way because if you state opinion that differ from policy or management you will have a hard time working here. Know that you must agree to work at any branch at any time without notice. You may start off working close to home then get transfered to a location a hour away without notice.

    Advice to Management

You have a lot of good employees that work hard for you. While policy changes are necessary to comply with regulations training beyond new hires needs improvement. Once hired most training is constant looking up & reading proceedures.

I have been working at McCoy Federal Credit Union full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

McCoy treats its employees like they're family. I've always enjoyed that about the company. The CEO even sends you birthday cards.

    Cons

A little too much micro mgmt. going on. Low pay, but it's compensation with good benefits. Free healthcare, 401K match.

    Advice to Management

    Stop being so nit picky.

    Neutral Outlook

I worked at McCoy Federal Credit Union full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

No sales, and you get a lunch break. Time off is earned at a good rate. McCoy also has pretty fantastic benefits.

    Cons

micro management, poor starting wage. You have to do a lot of "you know what kissing" to get ahead.

    Advice to Management

phony money compensation wont drive the company anywhere. Actually offer cash incentives. Starting wage is a joke. Especially if your company has over 250 million in assets with a little over 200 employees.
