I have been working at McDermott full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

So far, there is room to grow and they give you the opportunity to create your own path. I knew very little about my job, and 2 1/2 years later I know my job in and out. I'm learning other skills not just pertaining to my job.

    Cons

We had a 9/10 schedule but not anymore, it's only a con because we were use to having every other Friday off. That would really only be it for me. I enjoy working with my teams here.

    Advice to Management

    None.

McDermott breeds loyalty and there are some wonderful people that work here. Pay is at or above market and they provide opportunities to work abroad.

It's a project-oriented company, so when projects are up, things are great. When projects slow down, well, things are not so great.
