I have been working at McDonald's full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

POV of someone who works at the mid-mgmt level in the corporate office in Oak Brook. McDonald's the past few years have under gone some major internal changes. Both from restructuring the home office and regional staff to be more effective and efficient when working with the franchisees and restaurant staff. The pace of change here has increase and presents a lot of new challenges, but as a whole everyone is sync'ed to improve the customer experience.

    Cons

The pace of change is fast with multi-projects and sometimes in an ambiguous environment, this leads to long workdays (10 hrs+). Not enough support staff (day-to-day admin tasks, gathering data or project management duties).

    Advice to Management

Continue the pace of change, but bring in more support (manpower and resources) to help staff get over some short-term barriers in the enabling the digital, mobile and restaurant experience efforts by 2020.

I have been working at McDonald's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great people, teamwork, flexibility, benefits are fantastic, huge bonus payout, working ours are great! Work is easy. No stressful month end closes.

    Cons

No room for growth, lack of growth opportunities - you are stuck in one position for years, leadership is shady, people only manage up, wont allow to work from home one person but another one can do whatever they want.

    Advice to Management

Stop withholding information from employees, allow more flexibility with work from home!

    I worked at McDonald's full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

They offer great benefits for the position I had at the restaurant. You work in a team with the rest of the management and the supervisors are always around to support and point you in the right direction.

    Cons

Change is constant because of the nature of the business, therefore there is always uncertainty about job security and/or job location.
