I have been working at McGraw-Hill Education full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I have really enjoyed working for McGraw-Hill. I have worked for the other major publishers, and McGraw-Hill is by far the best of them. Obviously it all depends on your direct manager, but overall, the company cares about employees. Even when tough decisions are made, they have seemed to take care of those impacted. McGraw-Hill has the best products in the industry and still has a lot of growth potential. Most employees are very intelligent.

    Cons

Challenging industry. Senior leadership are all software industry veterans without much knowledge of the educational publishing industry. They have made a few head scratching decisions.

    Advice to Management

Be sure to consult employees who know what they are doing before making major decisions on the direction of the company.

    Cons

    - Your own business as a rep so you could work very long hours during selling season
    - As a rep you do it all, selling, implementation and your own administrative assistant.
