    Pros

The clients were great to work. I was able to work from. The company paid for my pmp certificate. You were able to travel.

    Cons

The management team was weak. The company over promise and under delivered. The always threw their project manager's under the bus. The technical staff under staff.
They could not keep trained and

    Advice to Management

To stop telling lies. To support you team. To stop over working and stressing out your project managers. Great better middle management who work for unity.

I worked at McKesson as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Executive management in my business unit was truly excited to have interns around and they took special interest in us. I had one on one meetings that I scheduled with many of them. They took great value in us.

    Cons

Though my business unit (EIS) was amazing to work for as an intern, I can't really say much for corporate Mckesson. Well except for the fact that they did well with EIS, which they sold to AllScripts.

    Advice to Management

    Keep doing what you're dping

I worked at McKesson full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Some managers are actually really great people. Intelligent, strong leaders and generous. I was fortunate to work for and with some fantastic individuals during my tenure at McKesson.

    Cons

Very often there are just too many cooks in the kitchen. And some of them really have no idea what's on the menu!

    Advice to Management

Let your strong leaders lead. Reward employees who truly contribute. Establish a culture of trust and transparency.

I worked at McKesson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Pretty good benefits and most of the people you work with are easy going. If you like repetitiveness, then this is the type of accounting job for you.

    Cons

Navigating the structure to find information you need. There are people that have been there a long time and very resistant to change. Expect to have a very narrow focus. Expect to see people promoted based on demographics over merit.

    Advice to Management

Stop with all the diversity garbage. Your plumbing, skin color, or sexual flavor do not add value as an employee. Your experience, work ethic, and individual character do!

McKesson frequently restructures and consolidates the employees each quarter. I think that most publicly traded companies do this though.
