I have been working at McKesson (Less than a year)

    Pros

If you're in the right position, the advancement opportunities are amazing. The benefits are top notch, the organization is strong, and for the most part, upper management is people/employee friendly.

    Cons

If you're not in the right position, your employment could be jeopardized by corporate politics. As a tier II support member for their EHR, a project restructuring caused my team's positions to be moved from SF to Texas.

    Advice to Management

Listen to your employees. Just because you have a title, your employees may have a stronger understanding of a business model than you think.

I have been working at McKesson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Work environment is good. Great benefits and pay. They believe in work-life balance have a lot of opportunities

    Cons

Working offsite at another company so I don't always get the McKesson experience. Would like McKesson to visit or check in with their employees that are off site

I have been working at McKesson full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Located in Livonia MI, Great group of people to work with the job is very face paced.

    Cons

Little room for advancement, more management structure, poor business plan, poor salary.

    Advice to Management

Need to listen to and understand employees and what is good for the job. Many people are leaving this position accepting offers from other places for the same work but higher pay.

    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

Great benefits. Ability to relocate. Jobs located all over the country.

    Cons

Very little room for growth within the department but not in the company as a whole.

    Advice to Management

I would say be more understanding of the job and the stress of it and reward/recognize your team efforts and not just focus on what you "ARE NOT" doing. Also don't go by the numbers alone when it comes to mid/year end reviews. Know when you really have a quality person.
