I worked at McKinsey & Company full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Surrounded by great thinking people
    A proven toolkit
Opportunities to interact with highly positionned clients

    Cons

    Long hours
Process (slides) is as much valued as impact
Starting some level, promotion is based on how much one is liked by his peers, leading to a very homogeneous top management level. The most impressive and promissing talent I met were actually Junior staff

    Advice to Management

Make working in an enterprise a condition to become partner

    Scope of projects very inspirational
International staffing allowing to constantly work either abroad or with foreign colleagues
