    Pros

Amazing benefits. Lots of PTO, great 401K plan, and health insurance . You get the chance to work with a lot of incredibly smart people.

    Cons

If you're not client facing/a consultant, you don't really matter. No bonuses, and the review processes is grueling. They also say they are for flexible work schedules, that's a lie.

    Pros

Very very smart people Interesting and varied projects High compensation relative to industry

    Cons

Lots of travel Promotions not very fair -- involve a fair bit of marketing yourself and politicking (like most places)

    Advice to Management

Care about lifestyle. Long hours and unnecessary travel are the number 1 reason people leave.

I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Able to flex my creative/entrepreneurial muscles when approaching new projects and challenges, while also having the support/resources of a large company. I worked for smaller companies/start-ups before and truly feel like i get the best of both worlds at McK. Cares deeply about gender parity and diversity and many programs are in place to support women and diverse colleagues. other pros: casual work attire (jeans..., etc) in many US offices, medical benefits are fantastic, work with fun and smart people

    Cons

McK is always looking to improve and innovate, not only for clients but internally. There are rarely "slow days", even as a non-client facing colleague. The expectations are high for everyone, but this is also what makes McKinsey a leading organization.

I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    - great benefits - best place to grow soft skills through the feedback culture - really smart people - fast paced

    Cons

    - sometimes too political - a ton of travel

    Advice to Management

Integration is still a challenge among different functions. The growth path for those functions is particularly not clear
