I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Working with smart people. Working on big problems (sometimes).

    Cons

Travel/lifestyle. New leadership, thus several things are changing. Not always for the better for some groups that were fostered under previous leadership. Natural, but not fun when it happens to you.

I have been working at McKinsey & Company full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Working with smart people is the biggest perk and helps you elevate yourself. Also, helps you develop strong business skill sets which are transferable to industry, though the work can get a bit underwhelming.

    Cons

Lifestyle is variable and depends on projects / clients / partners you work with. Even though you can manage it by being proactive, work certainly takes up a bigger portion of your life than it ought too at McKinsey

It's like getting a 2nd, 3rd, and 4th MBA

    Cons

+ Working here will consume your whole life, leaving little room for family or hobbies + Recent scandals and rapid growth are hurting the brand
