      Love my department

      Pros

Good manager and department. Very flexible boss. Property is nice. Remote working a few days a week is great. Everyday is challenging and busy.

      Cons

My biggest complaint is the lack of PTO in the first two years of employment and it’s really not generous until year 7. This is not the market standard anymore for professional careers trying to retain good talent. Anyone with a family struggles moving into a job here and not being given any time off the first year. Sick pay is outdated and very slowly earned.

      A bit hypocritical

      Pros

Above average pay The sub-constracted CDL instructor is world class and has a great personality Will pay you go to get certified and trained Dispatch is okay as long as you are friendly with them

      Cons

Poor culture, despite claiming to follow "high christian principles" Senior drivers have a contempt for newer drivers Equipment is regularly stolen by senior drivers and there are no consequences Incentivized to NOT do pre-trip inspections, endangering population Blame their low retention rate on people being lazy Tractors were always dirty and sticky No concern for your growth as a driver, pigeonholing 100% touch cargo, and you may think they'd get good equipment for that but no. Ramps tear apart your boots and are "low tech" (to be nice), carts/dollies are in rough shape and brakes don't always work Despite being a driver and already doing 100% touch cargo, you are also expected to do part of the warehouse's job at the end of your day, and you better have drive time left over because if you aren't finished before you reach your 11 you 'will' get in trouble for it.

One of the worst companies to work for

      Pros

High pay in position, will eventually reimburse you for travel. Company has a lot of room for IE's to improve processes.

      Cons

Lied about travel requirements, put thousands of dollars of travel on a personal card, job was advertised as 40 hours/week but closer to 60-80. Job did not have any onboarding prepared, and would often throw graveyard shifts at you less than 48 hours in advance. At some point I asked if I could get an estimate of my hours for the next consecutive 6 weeks (monday-sunday) of work, and I got a "no".

      Loads

      Pros

The pay is great and the benefits are also great. The company works with you.

      Cons

The loads are terrible and the work is back breaking. They add more and more stops on your route that make it almost impossible to finish some days.

      Pros

Money is great for just starting out working 4 nights a week on a 60/7 clock 14hours a nights

      Cons

Only night you won't get called is Sat. But you only work 4 nights so it's hard to configure your schedule while in training. You only work 4 nights but no set days 12hours notice of start times.

      Don’t waste your time!

Jul 20, 2021 - Driver in Dothan, AL

      Business Outlook

      Pros

If you don’t want to be home with family you won’t be.

      Cons

You might as well be OTR driver because you’ll never be home. They care nothing about their drivers! It’s ok if they bend the rules but you will get final if you get caught doing it. They will have you doing 6 & 8 hour turn arounds regardless of how much sleep you’ve had! This company in Dothan will be bankrupt because of a lawsuit when one of their drivers kill someone due to being over worked & driving with inadequate sleep! Worst trucking company out there! And the pay is not good compared to others!

      Pros

None not a damn thing. Promised an average of 30 an hour only make 16 on average

      Cons

They told me I had to clock out and continue working in order to reset my DOT clock so I could work another 23 hour shift after only getting two hours of sleep. Was told it would be local so I could be home for my son and I'm gone every other night.

15-20% less than Market Average compensation for the employees

Jul 11, 2021 - Analyst in Carrollton, TX
      Recommend
      CEO Approval
      Business Outlook

      Pros

Decent culture Employee engagement People Company Reputation is good Long tenured employees

      Cons

The compensation at every level is atleast 15-20% less than market average. PTO is horrible. Workload can be extremely high. Their gross profit margin is slim to none so its hard for them to spend on additional employees budget. Executives negotiate a contract that is not driven by profit rather by reputation. What I mean by that? They are happy to get XX company to sign another contract without negotiating a better margin.
