    Pros

    Interesting contracts, decent pay, very good people

    None that I can think of.

    I worked at McManis & Monsalve Associates full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

    Flexibility in work schedule. This depends to a great extent on the onsite supervisor, but usually there was some flexibility in terms of onsite and telework

    Cons

    Sometimes difficult coordinating across teams as there are multiple business areas. Some work in staffing while others work in management consulting. It's unusual for these areas to coordinate.

    Advice to Management

    Focus on key areas for improving collaboration between staff and staffing contractors.

    Pros

    Friendly environment. Truly concerned with employees and their success. Not hung up on bureaucracy. Creativity in helping clients work through problems encouraged and recognized.

    Cons

    No business plan. Unsophisticated business development and marketing activities. Still describes itself as a "management consulting firm," but has only a few employees capable of conducting basic management consulting activities -- e.g., facilitation,change management , executive coaching -- and very few active employees capable of actually recommending courses of action to managers.

    Advice to Management

    Figure out who and what you want to be when you grow up.

    I worked at McManis & Monsalve Associates full-time

    Pros

    Excellent benefits: health, dental, 401K, holidays and especially personal time off. Enjoyed working with co-workers and clients. Able to work independently. Work/Life balance

    Cons

    As the years past, the culture of the company changed. Once an exciting and fun place to work became of place where you needed to watch your back. The fact that upper management didn't trust the President only increase the employees lack of trust with him. Communication and follow through was non-existent. No rhyme or reason to raises and it was very apparent who was their favorites were.

    Advice to Management

    Get a new President who cares about his employees and the clients. One whose actions speak louder than words and can be trusted. Someone who communicates with management and his staff. Stop micromanaging.

    Pros

    Flex time, clients, co-worker and benefits - when they communicate them.

    Cons

    No communication. Upper Management does not care about their employees or the client relationship. Almost impossible to get questions answered. Very rude and condescending, Only concerned with making money.

    Pros

    Flexible work schedule mainly because management had no idea what contracts were being sought, who was seeking, and did not care about contractual results.

    Cons

    Micromanagement, no focus, trying to generate revenue streams in areas of non-expertise, use and abuse mentality with stringers, and flat out deception at upper management level.

    Advice to Management

    Need focus and new upper management
