    Pros

Friendly people, management is great, early off fridays, animals and children are welcome in the office, great facility, rewarding job

    Cons

The newer departments can be a bit unorganized and for that reason some clients can easily fall between the cracks

I worked at Meals on Wheels America full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great cause, members do fantastic work.

    Cons

Lots of favortism, low pay, insular culture that doesn't listen to outside voices. HR will blatantly and always favor management, even amidst clear ethical (and sometimes legal) issues.

    Advice to Management

Listen to outside voices, especially the members of your own team(s).

    Pros

Busy all the time so the day goes fast. Meeting the awesome clients.

    Cons

In my case the Kitchen Supervisor was borderline abusive and the BOSS often had us cooking things for her personal parties or her sons baseball games!

    Advice to Management

Treat people nicer and don't yell when you can't get your job done because you were ordered to cater the boss' sons baseball team picnic.
