I worked at Measurement Specialties part-time

    Pros

Good coworkers, great boss, low-key work environment. People were respectful of differences and had a good sense of humor.

    Cons

Was very slow at times and could be stressful. Some had issues getting a response from upper management about certain problems.

    Advice to Management

Listen to employees and take them into consideration when they have concerns about new procedures that upper management wants to implement.

    Pros

Open ended projects. Wide scope of engineering challenges.
Good exposure to many different industries.

    Cons

No chance of move up the ranks at my specific US site.

    Advice to Management

There is a lack of structure from senior management.
The product line managers are allowed free reign of design process by the general managers.
Thus quality varies significantly from each product line.
Some managers choose to follow APQP procedures and have products that are more thoroughly tested and well documented, while others may lack meaningful validations or proper documentation of testing.
