I have been working at Med-Trans (OH) full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

You can work as much as you want. Felt part of a family not just a job. Get to see so many different parts of your community

    Cons

You will work holidays and weekends. Sometime it is unorganized. Would be nice to have a more comfortable seats to sit in while waiting on runs.

I have been working at Med-Trans (OH) full-time

    Pros

Considered the most professional private ambulance company in the area. Facilities are happy to call Med Trans because the employees wear very nice uniforms and regularly treat the patient, family, and staff with respect.

    Cons

Is at the lowest end of the pay scale, compared to other private ambulance companies, locally. Insurance is not offered; rather, full time employees receive assistance with their own policies, if they use the endorsed broker.

    Advice to Management

Find a way to pay the employees more money.

    Neutral Outlook

I have been working at Med-Trans (OH) full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Small family owned non-corperate. Bonuses if you come in on your day off

    Cons

Little pay. Have to work overtime to make any kind of living. Inflexible for personal life. Vehicles are sad, and breakdown frequently. Once you figure out how much they make, its obvious how underpaid you are... High turnover

    Advice to Management

Would 11.00 an hour kill you. Frequent patients have shared how much their insurance pays the company. Share the wealth
