    Pros

    Focused on the customer and willing to change in order to meet customer needs.

    Cons

    Pockets of disfunction within the organization sometimes make it challenging to meet goals.

    Advice to Management

    Bring in more leadership with broad industry experience for fresh, new ideas. Stay focused on the customer and the company culture will follow.

    Pros

    1. Pay is competitive
    2. Benefits are decent

    Cons

    1. Completely absent management in terms of communication and accessibility
    2. Underqualified leadership

    The core of MedAssist's problems lies with horrendous communication; you will be contacted by management once, then have to jump through hoops to get into communication with them again. It's absurd.

    Advice to Management

    I don't even have the energy to discuss and dissect all of the company's shortcomings... you know what needs to be fixed, seeing as it's plastered all over Glassdoor and Indeed. Train managers to learn how to communicate with people. I shouldn't have to email someone four times and leave them three voicemails before I hear back from them two weeks later. It's utterly ridiculous! I will take my years of experience and Master's degree to a company that is worthy of my contributions, skillset, and time. You are not deserving.

    I have been working at MedAssist full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Could not find any at this time.

    Cons

    Place very unorganized. Told i had the job and never heard back. They ask me when i could start and they gave me a start date picked. I tired to get in touch with manager. He finally texted me saying they havnt made a decision yet on the job. Which was totally opposite of what they had told me that day of my second interview.

    Advice to Management

    Get your ducks in a row for you offer someone a job.

    Pros

    Flexibility with schedule and lots of nice people.

    Cons

    Office Space. Very little room for growth and uninspiring leadership. Executive leadership is often disrespectful to their underlings and that disrespect ripples throughout the company organization.

    Advice to Management

    To the people in India that own MedAssist: Approve the funds to CLEAN AND UPDATE THE CORPORATE BUILDING. It's disgusting. Terribly depressing atmosphere and difficult on anyone with allergies because of the mold. Also, a $28 Christmas bonus that post-tax ends up being $22 isn't a way to show us that you appreciate our difficult work. It's insulting. You also sent a corporate email that suggested we donate a portion of it to the flood victims in India. TACKY.

    Pros

    Get to help people with no insurance.

    Cons

    Can never do a good enough job for the client. Management is severely underpaid. Supervise 25 people in the state and earn 41,000. Very stressful. Never able to meet goal for client. Employees are not appreciated. No Christmas bonus. Yearly raise increases 1.5 percent.

    I worked at MedAssist full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    Client was wonderful. Good vacation and time off policy, decent pay, although they slowly cut off bonus and raises, making it hard to hire competent staff. They continued lowering their hiring standards and were hiring inexperienced staff. You get what you pay for.

    Cons

    Medassist used to be a wonderful company, one that I was proud to work for but due to management and director changes, it became nothing but a micromanaged, stressful, hateful, dreadful company to work for. They lost focus of their goals and purpose. It went from a job that I loved to a job that became a hazard to my health, both physical and mental. Management was unethical, disrespectful, condescending, rude, agressive, and bullying. Best thing I did for me and my family was to find other employment that appreciated my work ethic.

    Look for another position that doesn't require people skills.

    Pros

    The employees that are there to do a great job and want to succeed. Leadership works well,together ans will help one another out because we have all been thrown into the position with no,training.

    Cons

    Upper management expect rhw Leadership,team to,keep a smile on their face even after they run from one meeting to the next basically hearing how bad we suck as a department. Employees see it and it bothers them. Large amount of,employees leave because they feel the environment is ridiculous!

    Advice to Management

    Remember and proactive what you preach to your leadership team because your actions and demeanor tells the story
