I have been working at MedImmune full-time

    Pros

There are no pros at MedImmune. All the things you look for in a job (respect from coworkers, work life balance, career progession) are non-existent at MedImmune

    Cons

The people here act very childish and immature. The management sucks, three people will teach you something three different ways. The work/life balance sucked. My direct manager was terrible, she was always in peoples business, she loved to gossip and micromanage.

    Advice to Management

Stay out of peoples business. Stop micromanaging.

I worked at MedImmune as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

I worked there as a contractor. The job itself was ok, but the Hours were too long. They will never make you permanent unless you know someone in management.

    Cons

    Long hours, short term contract

    Advice to Management

    Hire more permanent employees

    2. Forced us to work seven 12 hour days a week for 2 months.

I worked at MedImmune as a contractor (Less than a year)

    Pros

They take people with little or no experience. You can avoid working all together if you hide out from your responsibility. If you negotiate you can make more than other people on shift and make your own days and hours.

    Cons

They treat you like you can be replaced immediately. They ask you to change shifts and hours almost at random. You will get stuck doing the same job unless you complain or you make enough mistakes that they decide it's better to move you. Most of the people that work here don't know how to do their job and a few people carry the rest of the shift.

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring people that don't know how to do their job and review people more frequently to make sure they understand the SOPs.
