I worked at MedImpact full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

SOME of the people are knowledgeable and fun to be around. Not a lot of work if you’re smart. So your day to day work life balance is manageable.

    Cons

The benefits are horrible. I’m really surprised to see that as some PROS on the reviews. My guess is that feedback is from those who have been there too long and don’t realize most companies in and out of the industry provide much better benefit packages. The CEO is a crook. Bonuses were withheld from employees this year even though we were hitting goal. No communication provided when we did not receive and when challenged...

    Advice to Management

Management for: Configuration Services, Implementation, and some IT are horrible to work with. It is black and white. They are not required to follow the rules while being the first to point out faults on individual from their own team and outside of it, and don’t provide support or “leadership” until the ship is already sinking. Treat team members as equals, and with respect, instead of like slaves, minions, secretaries....

I have been working at MedImpact full-time

    Pros

Pay and benefits are very good.

    Cons

CEO is hurting the company's future and financial position with ongoing actions and decisions. Needs to bring in an experienced leader.

    Advice to Management

Management is stuck until CEO moves down or away from role.

I have been working at MedImpact full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, some good coworkers

    Cons

Company owner is in trouble. Other reviews are right about a MedImpact lawsuit of the owner which is currently ongoing. This reflects how senior leadership is defined at this company - directors, VP's, and managers - shame shame shame! Very bad leadership. Company takes advantage of its people. They will overwork you and keep delegating new duties without any comp. Work mentality is work harder, faster, and longer hours....

    Advice to Management

Management needs a big life raft right now. Most employees do not favor management or senior leadership at this time. I would recommend that the company hire some outside help to take a hard look at the direction that this leadership is evolving. Many good staff have left or plan to.

I have been working at MedImpact full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

There are some good employees who really do care and are good at their jobs. Though most of them are leaving or in the process of trying. Benefits are okay.

    Cons

The review suggesting the company needs outside consulting is on point. The reviews highlighting nepotism are on point. The key business decision makers are not equipped to fix the problems they've created. Pitiful bonus and annual pay raise (note: nowhere to be found thus far in 2019). Perhaps those at the C-level that are driving this company into the ground should take the cut. Best case scenario is the company...

    Advice to Management

The company's core marketing competency is being an independent pbm operator that offers highly customized business solutions. This worked alright when the company had a handful of "blue chip" clients. It does not work with these 100+ small life accounts. And now there's an issue with labor costs (read layoffs). Shocker. Time to hire senior leadership that has some idea of how to navigate this company through the...

    No opinion of CEO

I have been working at MedImpact full-time for more than a year

    Pros

    Flexible schedule, that's about it.

    Cons

Poor leadership, lack of strategy, and failure to listen to employees. This company only cares about growing their pockets without giving their employees the resources possible to do their jobs. Everyone is essentially set up for failure due to poor leadership. Very high stress job with little to no support from your team.

    Pros

    - Great colleagues within my department - hence the star. If it weren't for them, NO STAR. Outside of the department...ehhh...depends. Some people are just plain nasty and don't know how to speak decently to a human being - finger pointing, strong BLAME culture. Your run of the mill peaked-in-high-school fools. Some other people are awesome, but of course there aren't enough of them. - Medical/Dental/Vision, 401K with...

    Cons

    - Google "MedImpact Lawsuit". - Lying and LACK of transparency are the ONLY consistency. Senior leadership - shame on ya'll. - Mixed messages - leadership will send you praise and then say we still need "quality improvement" and will take away the few non-monetary perks we had. - Supervisors are nice people BUT THEY DON'T KNOW HOW TO DO THE TECHNICAL SIDE OF THE JOB AT ALL. Imagine needing help with your case load...

    Advice to Management

-Read the Cons I listed above. -Be transparent, even if it is bad news. -Re-evaluate the pay scale. -Require the supervisors to complete at least 5 tasks a week so they can actually retain skills from the initial training, which ends up being a big waste of time and $ if they can't use their skills. "Use it or lose it" is real!! -Culture - I don't even know if this is good advice, but I am desperate and concerned...hire...

I have been working at MedImpact full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Coworkers are awesome. Great health benefits. Good pay. Nice building. Food trucks

    Cons

Culture is non existent - couldn't stress that enough. Zero regard for employees. Egotistical, arrogant upper management literally do not listen to SMEs. Small amount of employee perks have been cut due to budget. No room to grow. Stone age systems. Absolutely zero communication from upper management. The list goes on...
