    Pros

    Great Hours and great staff

    Cons

Managers do nothing to resolve issues. Lie about promoting the hard workers and instead praise those that does the bare minimum. Turn over rate is ridiculous. Not competitive in salary

    Advice to Management

Pay more attention to the associates because they have a lot of great ideas. They are the glue that keep the patients happy

    Cons

Favoritism, all who you know to get the best positions and salaries. Outdated buildings, no oversight with some departments.

Be consistent in management style. It is uneven between union and non union employees in departments. Doctors need to be trained about how to treat their coworkers. Please Stop favoritism!

I have been working at MedStar Health (More than a year)

    Pros

Ok place to work but Good benefits. Most operating hours are between 7am-6pm which makes the hours family friendly.

    Cons

It is hard to go up the ladder. The idea of hiring current employee is crap (well in my department). Terrible parking if you have to drive daily,

    Advice to Management

The Hospital did their best to appreciate their employees BUT... my department management sucks in appreciating their employee(i have experience different managements after few years here). So, I will say tot he management... "You do better if you treat your employees well"
