I have been working at MedVentive (More than a year)

    Pros

    Responsibility commensurate with ability.
    Great, smart, hard working coworkers.
    Flexible work environment
    Great work/life balance.

    Cons

Lot's of change as the company matures
Requires mature, responsible engineers who don't need a lot of hand-holding.

    Advice to Management

Keep guiding the company through the challenging trajectories of growth and maturity with the same steady hand.

"All the good reviews are probably from managers"

    Pros

Can't really think of any, some of the coworkers were nice. They all left though, pretty fast.

    Cons

I am glad I didn't last long at this place, just a really horrible experience. There is a reason there are quite a few H-1b s here because they will work you to death and provide absolutely no support or training and won't let you take time off. It has a very negative feel, not allot of software for software. Managers act like the gestapo, I had one breathing at me when offshore couldn't do the job correct. Right there tells you that this company does not respect it workers. Anyways, this place was not for me for a number of reasons, I really didn't see how it would help me go anywhere in my career. Also, lost of ineffective ways of doing things that complicate the job and its more or less blame a lower level person when something happens.

    Pros

micro managing to the highest level is rampant causes the employees to be paralyzed and afraid to do anything. they fire people constantly. employees are afraid for their jobs. nobody ever gets a performance review on time. that right there shows how the company feels about the employees. work them to the bone and squeeze as much as you can out of them and rule by fear.

    Cons

a lot of good people work at this company but they are not appreciated

    Advice to Management

treat employees with respect.. when the economy picks up they will bolt

    Cons

No processes. For a SOFTWARE co. it's all flying by the seat of the pants. NO prioritization. Too many "VPs" for such a small co. Sr. Management has thier favorites and let's everyone know it.

    Pros

    Cons

This place is like a chop shop, people are expendable, no training, resources are horrible, no management, people are clicky, no work life balance, low wage, not allowed to take time off, management bullies employees, when your hired they won't tell you anything regarding the job will you be doing or hours. Biggest mistake of my life.

    Advice to Management

    There is no hope
