    Pros

Friendly, helpful atmosphere. Relatively good salary. Good benefits.

    Cons

With all the mergers and buy-outs, nobody's job is safe right now. With the duality of positions, the larger company is laying off Media General employees and putting their employees in those positions.

    Pros

The company is strong and fairly stable considering the amount of mergers and changes that have happened. We have one of the best CEOs in the industry.

    Cons

There is little forward thinking and low standards are set by leadership outside of the CEO, preventing him from doing what he could do for the company. Every process and standard could use an upgrade.

    Advice to Management

Don't give up on employees when changes happen.

    Pros

Great, talented people that value their craft and understand the importance of providing informative and honest journalism.
