    I worked at Media Services

    Pros

Although a large amount of the reviews below seem to come off as negative, my experience with Media Services was generally great. I was hired back in 2011 for an administrative role and found my job as having a good work/life balance. The benefits package was nice and the 401k match was a huge incentive for me to start saving for retirement. I truly enjoyed the people I worked with and I would recommend this company...

    Cons

The location of the building does make it difficult to walk anywhere for lunch, but the cafe does offer a nice atmosphere as well as food selection.

    Advice to Management

    Keep up the good work.

    Disapproves of CEO

I worked at Media Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

You learn how to survive in a toxic environment....

    Cons

Its like you are at daycare instead of work. Management and the underlings are impartial, immature and under qualified to be in management. Why does a grown up have to ask, "Can I go home?" 22 people quit in a matter of 1 calendar year and HR doesn't have any concerns about the management style? Think about it.

    Advice to Management

    Throw the whole office away

I have been working at Media Services full-time

    Pros

Benefits package is really good. From what I seen, top floor seems to be very quiet with a full stocked kitchen. Some of the people here are nice.

    Cons

Some people do what they can to sabotage the people they don’t like. It can be a very difficult environment to work in.

I worked at Media Services for less than a year

    Pros

The freebies: weekly doughnuts/pastries, close to home, tickets to games, coffee & tea, etc. Some of the staff were very nice (probably more than a handful give or take).

    Cons

Very scary work environment. At first I felt ok, then I was placed in a different office and for some reason nothing I did was correct. New people were expected to catch on at the speed of others who have been there for years. Some managers needed anger management classes ASAP (really don’t even seen why they were not fired for their actions). Micromanaged and thrown under the bus by other employees who were kissing the...

    Advice to Management

Employees should never live in fear of their bosses. Ethically, management and supervisors should demonstrate a certain level of maturity since they are leading a group of individuals and their attitudes reflect harshly on those in their presence. All management need to take anger management/coping skills classes or lawsuits will start appearing for disorderly conduct or worst. Do not take out anger on other people. I...

Good place to grow technically. Managers are very supportive. People help each other in delivering a quality Product. Were given enough time to learn the business and implement the knowledge. new ideas are always accepted and encouraged.

    Cons

Work timings are not very much flexible. we cant start our work early and leave early to avoid traffic.

    Advice to Management

At least once in a while, employees must be given a change to work from home

I worked at Media Services full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Benefits , material to learn from, Cafe staff, cake day, holiday, time Off

    Cons

Management discriminates against you if you're a person of color and hr treats you less than a human. Therefore, it's difficult to have a normal conversation. Literally the whole time I was there, I kept saying hello to the controller in the finance department, and she would look me in the eye and ignore me, walk past me, and not say a word. Talk about rude and uncomfortable. Married men hit on you here and it seems...

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like humans and don't discriminate based on race. Your actions are blatant. Everything is noticeable and shows though your condescending behaviors. Be respectful to human beings. Aren't you human?
