I worked at Media and Marketing Group full-time

    Pros

Now repackaged under M Partners name, iy's the same people coming from the failed Star Group and investors with a less than clean record. How is that a pro? Because if you have time to spare and a computer, you can find a lot of interesting info just by googling them - I promise, it's quite entertaining.
Also there's some sort of sick pleasure in watching a ship sink, especially of the ship is full of people that are not exactly honorable and couldn't care less about the employees.

    Cons

where to start...? incompetence starts at the top and trickles down to every department. A lot of boasting and chest-thumping, but the clients are leaving as fast as people in first class left the Titanic. Just don't be caught without a life boat or you will sink with them.
Business practices scream for intervention from labor lawyers.
    The turnover is insane.
Do yourself a favor - take a job at McDonalds instead: it will be more rewarding and will hold more promise for the future than a job here

    Advice to Management

for a start - use less cologne. You are only reinforcing the Jersey Shore stereotype. Just do the advertising world a favor and close the doors - it would not be the first time anyway.

    Pros

met a couple of nice coworkers

    Cons

This is the most toxic environment I have ever worked in. Screaming and intimidation are the only managment tools. People are treated horribly, and clients are as bad as management (clearly they are only doing biz with m&m because they are as toxic).

    Advice to Management

Get your soul reimplanted, assuming you ever had one. Know that the way you do business is NOT the way the rest of the world works.

I worked at Media and Marketing Group full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Was an easy commute. Gave me a raise if I said I was leaving.

    Cons

Management would set up fake interviews to gather information. Public scenes of yelling and intimidation in hopes to get projects done.

    Advice to Management

Do something productive, not look like your productive.

I worked at Media and Marketing Group full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

The people you are surrounded by, for the most part, are really great. Mostly good creative.

    Cons

No annual reviews or pay increases. Burn and churn mentality. No training. You are set up to fall short because management over-promises and under delivers.

    Advice to Management

Care more about the quality of people you have - before they leave.

    Pros

the people you meet here are great. created some of my closest friends here.

    Cons

work gets redundant, you burn and churn, no quality to work just quantity, you are not praised if you do a good job but only if you're in trouble is when you get noticed. snarky comments often float around. no point in the anniversary party, no one gets a real promotion... just a title but no bonus or salary bump.

    Advice to Management

you're losing good talent because you're too cheap to keep them and praise them.
