    I have been working at MediaCom Worldwide for more than a year

    Pros

    -After 2 years employment you are given the opportunity to transfer to a foreign office. -Young relaxed friendly atmosphere -Opportunity to work with the top brands in the world -Relaxed time off approval, and lots of vacations days. Full last week of the year off. -Career growth opportunity. You will learn a lot and improve your skill set astronomically. -Being a part of WPP gives you endless opportunity to eventually work on many different clients, travel and work in other offices/sister companies. -Snack time at 2pm. Always a lot of free food and alcohol

    Cons

    -Sometimes you will have to work late, but that is expected with a salaried position

    - Overall decent people - Small office allows for direct contact with leadership - Startup mentality among many in Chi market where they all pitch in to help

    Cons

    - Consistent with other agencys where beauracy showed its ugly head. Changes were made that hurt morale and feeling among team and in resulted in low trust of leadership. - Startup approch to office leaves little work/life balance - Few clients = few opporutnities to grow or move around

    - Team that genuinely cares - Reactive to knowledge gaps and listen to team needs - Numerous internal promotions demonstrate opportunity for growth - Chance to impact agency culture and be heard, due to size and open door mentality by leadership

    Cons

    Growth of the company is coming from new clients, which is GREAT. However, with new business, means new process, and steep learning curves. Nailing down process and making sense of info from previous agencies can be frustrating and and lead to long hours.

    Overall experience was positive. Office perks. Company/superiors were truly invested in their employee’s personal and professional growth.

    Cons

    Same as any other agency, work life balance at times is non-existent.

    Pros

    -Poorly staffed teams, but some very talented people. -Couple people on executive team are scared to get hands dirty and train so they fire upper and mid level mgmt. There was one excellent leader and he left, so MC was maybe a resume builder for most? -Overall nice perks, bad desks (supposedly moving to wtc but that promise never happens). -The best of the group M in terms of integration for cross device attribution. -close to penn for commuters

    -Poor integration and dymaics from media to Account team -Analytics is not involved enough in day to day they should be FTE on all accounts they are on -Scopes are poorly built -Thin staffing -Long hours -Awful elevators and cafe -Incredible amount of drama- more than any other agency on the block.

    Pros

    Many perks but only because you can't afford to do anything on your own with the salary they pay you.

    Cons

    Catty employees, immature, bad communication, terrible pay, no overtime once you get promoted. People quit constantly to try and get offered a higher salary elsewhere. You end up focusing all your time on applying to new jobs instead of focusing on your work.
