    I have been working at Medibank full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The people on the floor doing the real work-which is helping keep our Customers who in turn keep the business running

    Cons

    Having a job. There are not a lot of cons sadly. Great Building and ease of getting to the job.

    Advice to Management

    Please STOP pushing us so hard to do everything for the Business. Let us do the real job and keep our Members happy and their business with us running smoothly.

    We can't be everything! Leave Sales to Sales team. If we are able to get Sales then it's a bonus to the Company but our focus should ABSOLUTELY be on happy members. They are the backbone of the whole business. The management are talking the talk 'Members First' but it is only TALK. It's not real. I am seeing people on the floor that are so stressed with the performance pushing that it's a wonder you're not having people go out on stress leave. Have some meetings with this core group of people. Real meetings!!!! Something has to change. Very soon.

    - A lot of career opportunities;

    Cons

    - Lack of collaboration; while its spoken about all the time, there is a lack of execution;
    - Inexperienced management - happy to put people on performance management, however no support is provided;
    - Low salaries;
    - Dictatorial;
    - Cliquey
    - Misaligned expectations of people who are new to roles;
    - Some employees are too concerned about their personal brand, than their need to support their employees;

    Advice to Management

    Don't put people into management positions, if they are not experienced. Provide them with more tools to be a supportive and collaborative leaders as opposed to protecting their own brand.

    Pros

    A great building to work in with some great people, but politics and the blame game by managers hides the real underlying problem.

    Cons

    Management within the digital team is pathetic with unrealistic expectations of what is possible within a given timeframe. As a consequence many people have left and if management continue they'll have no one. Lots of "are you getting enough support?", but it's only lip service as you don't get support.

    Advice to Management

    Look at your managers and ask why you've got a high turn over rate.
