I have been working at Medical Guardian full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

I am a recent new employee here at Medial Guardian and it has been such an amazing experience so far! I have been in the Sales industry for over 10 years and this has been the most innovative company that I have ever worked for; I can tell that the growth and expansion will only continue. There seems to be little to no stress among the Agents and Management, which enhances the work environment. The culture and the staff that reside here are very positive and inviting, as it truly does seem to stem from the CEO himself as well as the HR staff. This company exhibits care and dedication to their clients and employees, along with the opportunity for advancement. The compensation, company events & perks are always fun, not to mention the location is awesome, as it's close to so many great restaurants! With that being said, this company is simply outstanding!

    Cons

Increase PTO days from 15 to to 21-23 days (depending on LOS of employees and Management) and shorten the PTO request window, as it's currently at 21 days in advance. Provide rotating shifts for employees more often to allow for 2 days off in a row at least once a month. The commute can be frustrating if you do not live close to the city, as pubic transportation is not always convenient or on time, therefore employees can/are held liable for lateness, which can result in disciplinary actions. Parking can be very expensive, but that's a result of the buildings garage cost and not Medical Guardian.

    Advice to Management

Work on more consistent policies and procedures across the board among Teams. Work on more positive reinforcement with employees.

I have been working at Medical Guardian (More than a year)

    Pros

Great company, and great opportunity to make a lot of money if you have the drive.

    Cons

Terrible set up with PTO. If you have a sick day even with note it counts as PTO. Not even sure that’s legal. No base Salery, have to work a weekend day.

    Advice to Management

Maybe be a little more understanding of the fact that there is no base salery so micro managing/punishing for not meeting sales quotas is punishment enough.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. Relating to PTO, employees are allowed to use their days for vacation, sick time or personal days. In terms of the commission structure and... More
